Author Guidelines
Authors who wish to submit their manuscripts to Mandalika Health Care Journal (MHCJ) are requested to follow the guidelines below carefully. Submissions that do not comply may be returned for revision before the review process.
1. Language
Manuscripts can be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia, using clear, concise, and academic language.
2. Manuscript Types
The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:

3. Manuscript Structure
All manuscripts should be prepared using the following structure:
For Original Research Articles:

Title (in English and Bahasa Indonesia)

Abstract (maximum 250 words, in English and Bahasa Indonesia)

Keywords (3–5 words)

Introduction

Methods
-
Results
-
Discussion

Conclusion

For Literature Reviews or Case Reports:
Structure may be adjusted appropriately (e.g., without Methods/Results sections), but must include an abstract, keywords, introduction, discussion, and references.
4. Abstract and Keywords

Abstract should be written in both English and Bahasa Indonesia (max. 250 words each).

Use 3–5 keywords that represent the core topics of the article.
5. Formatting

Manuscript should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.

Use A4 paper size, 1.15 line spacing, Times New Roman, font size 12 pt.
-
Margins: Top 3 cm, Bottom 3 cm, Left 3 cm, Right 3 cm.
6. References

Use the APA (7th edition) referencing style.

References must be up-to-date and relevant (preferably from the last 10 years).

Minimum 15 references for original articles, and 10 references for other types.
7. Plagiarism Policy
All submitted manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software. The acceptable similarity index is below 20%. Higher similarity may result in rejection or revision request.
8. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through the official journal website or via email (if applicable).

Ensure that all authors have approved the final version before submission.
9. Peer Review Process
All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers. The editorial team reserves the right to reject or request revisions based on reviewer comments.
10. Article Processing Charges (APC)
There are no fees for submission, review, or publication. Mandalika Health Care Journal is completely free of charge.
