JOEES: Journal of Elementary Education Studies is a peer-reviewed academic journal that focuses on the field of elementary education. The journal aims to provide a platform for researchers, educators, practitioners, and students to disseminate research findings and scholarly work related to primary school teacher education and early childhood education.

JOEES publishes original research articles, literature reviews, and case studies that contribute to the development of theory and practice in the field of elementary and early childhood education. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Primary school teacher education

  • Curriculum and instruction in elementary schools

  • Early childhood education

  • Child development and learning

  • Assessment and evaluation in basic education

  • Educational innovation and classroom practices

  • Teacher professional development in elementary education

The journal is published by Lembaga Berugak Baca and was first issued in November 2025. It is published twice a year, in July and November, and uses an open access model to ensure wide dissemination of knowledge.

All articles published in JOEES are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which allows for sharing and adaptation of the work, provided appropriate credit is given to the original authors.
